Description
As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our cutting-edge software solutions.

• Oversee one or more software development teams and ensure the work is completed in accordance with the constraints of the software development process being used on any particular project.  
• Confer with system engineers and hardware engineers to derive software requirements and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces.
• Coordinate software system installation and monitor equipment functioning to ensure operational specifications are met. 

Responsibilities:

• Experience required to support container and container orchestration experience; high-speed networking and network protocol experience (preferred); python
• GitOps - agile Dev(Sec)Ops using Gitlab experience
• API development experience such as gRPC, Corba, REST, etc; Linux / Unix experience
• High-speed, distributed processing application development experience
• Certified Kubernetes administrator (preferred).

Requirements:
A current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.
 
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

Required technical skills:

• Certified Kubernetes Administrator: Proficient in managing and administering Kubernetes clusters, including deployment, scaling, and monitoring.
• Container and Container Orchestration Experience: Hands-on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• High-speed Networking and Network Protocol Experience (Preferred): Knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and experience optimizing network performance.
• Python: Strong programming skills in Python with experience in developing scalable and efficient software applications.
• GitOps - Agile Dev(Sec)Ops using GitLab Experience: Familiarity with GitOps principles and experience using GitLab for agile development, security operations, and CI/CD workflows.
• API Development Experience: Experience in designing and implementing APIs using technologies such as gRPC, CORBA, REST, etc.
• Linux / Unix Experience: Proficient in Linux/Unix environments and command-line tools for software development and debugging.
• High-speed, Distributed Processing Application Development Experience: Experience in developing high-performance, distributed processing applications, leveraging technologies like distributed computing frameworks, message queues, or stream processing platforms.
