Description
We are seeking a Software Tool Engineer that design and implement secure and scalable DNS, DHCP, and IPAM (DDI) solutions using Infoblox DDI, troubleshoot and resolve complex DDI issues, automate DDI workflows to improve efficiency, provide technical expertise and guidance to internal teams on all aspects of DDI, including IPv4 and IPv6. Has knowledge of IPv4 and IPv6 and will stay up to date with the latest Infoblox DDI features and best practices. A current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.
 
Fourteen (14) years experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

Required skills:

• DOD8570-M, IAT Level 1
• Ability to obtain PRIVAC and SYS3
• Experience with DNS, DHCP, IPAM, Load Balancing (F5/DTC)
• Know login management.
• Familiar with outages, latency issues, & trouble shooting 
• Proven experience designing and implementing DDI solutions
• Experience with load balancing technologies
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, including IPv4 and IPv6
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Experience with scripting and automation tools a plus

Desired Skills:

• DNS experience with an understanding of maintenance of Infoblox
• Experience with Infoblox trouble tickets
• In-depth knowledge of Infoblox DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM)
