Description
The RF Engineer provides technical expertise in system solutions and RF design for a small team in the design, development, integration and test of operational prototypes. Hands-on experience doing “design-bench-deploy” is essential. Specialized RF design experience in lower-power RF systems, power amplifiers, cellular and WiFi technology, antennas, RF propagation and RF test equipment are desired. Must have experience with modeling and simulation tools, such as PSpice or ADS. Should have a strong background with communication theory and protocols.

• Integrate and test RF systems
• Design, characterize, and analyze RF systems
• Design, characterize, and analyze antennas and RF components
• Perform, modeling and simulation using digital and analog circuit CAD tools (e.g., PSpice and ADS)

A current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.
 
Five (5) years’ experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics from an accredited college or university is required.
