Description
The Software Engineer shall participate in all Lean Agile scrums, sprints and grooming sessions. The team shall:

Manage the progress of Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) product integration and development efforts.
Ensure tasks are completed on schedule.
Consult and coordinate appropriately for problem resolution, task scheduling, new resource requirements, and task clarification.
Understand the cloud environments, such as AWS or Azure.
Coordinate and collaborate with security, operations, engineering, testing and other teams to provide system information and technical support.
Create, manage and update Jira tickets. The Contractor team shall design, develop and modify software systems.
Document and track vendor software roadmaps for software and patch version updates.
Unit test their software and perform code reviews.

Clearance
A current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.

Experience

Required skills:

Demonstrated experience developing detailed design and associated deliverables.
Demonstrated experience translating customer and system requirements into design.
Demonstrated experience designing system interfaces.
Demonstrated hands-on experience developing Applications using the following technologies or something similar: SOLR, Elastic, Postgres, Java, Scala, RDS or spring boot.
Demonstrated hands-on experience working with relational and non-relational database systems such as Amazon RDS, DynamoDB, and Postgres.
Demonstrated hands-on experience with and troubleshooting of Internet and Web related protocols and technologies such as Tomcat, Nodejs, Web Services, or SSL.
Demonstrated hands-on experience developing JUnit and Jasmine tests.
Demonstrated experience with testing platforms such as Jest or Karma.
Demonstrated hands-on experience working with DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, or Nexus

Desired skills:

Demonstrated experience managing network topologies (VPNs, subnets), traffic routing, and firewalls.
Demonstrated experience performing database administration to include standing up new databases, configuration, user administration, and scripts to backup, restore dev, test, and prod database instances.
Demonstrated experience with the Sponsor’s organization or mission.
Demonstrated experience in Sponsor’s enterprise capabilities and how to utilize them in delivering modern technology solutions.
Demonstrated experience interacting with Sponsor’s authentication services and PKI certificates.
Demonstrated experience with Sponsor’s A&A process and supporting systems.
Demonstrated experience addressing big data problem sets such as entity resolution, text analytics, pattern of life, and social network analysis.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.

Erias Ventures provides a complete package of wealth, health, and happiness benefits. The expected salary range for this position, depending on education and years of experience is $150,000 - $265,000.
