Description
We are seeking a well-rounded Senior Software Engineer capable of fulfilling a dual role of software developer and team lead. A current Top-Secret/SCI with FS polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.
 
The candidate must have at least twenty (20) years of general experience in software development or a similar field. A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or a related discipline may be substituted for four (4) years of general experience.

Required skills:

• Act as a team representative to the customer product lead and to other development teams
• Work with the team's Systems Engineer to define requirements, scope, and schedule sprints for/with the team
• Work within an agile development framework to handle continually changing priorities from the customer
• Desire and ability to mentor junior developers on the team
• Must have experience developing in Java
• Strong desire to have map/reduce framework development experience
• Strong desire to have experience developing in Spring Framework
