Description
We are seeking a Test Engineer to analyze system requirements and concept of operations documents, acquisition plans, and system descriptions to develop evaluation and test plans and procedures, prepare for and conduct the data collection and analysis, and report status and results. 
  A current Top-Secret/SCI with FS polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.
 
8+ years' testing experience in programs of similar scope, type and complexity. Bachelor’s degree in Math, Science, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. 4 years of additional TE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

Required skills:

• Linux operating system experience
• Test automation experience
• Scripting experience

• Basic familiarity with SVN or GIT version control systems and understanding of basic CM principles
• Basic familiarity with JIRA or other ticketing tools
• Basic understanding of C
• Knowledge of networking protocols (e.g. TCP/IP, ARP, ETHERNET, MPLS)
• Hands on experience with test equipment like packet generators, Ixia/Spirent
• Knowledge of telecom networks
• Familiarity with network traces
• Experience/knowledge setting up GRE or IPSEC
• Familiarity with basic VLAN/VPN/NAT concepts
