Description
We are seeking a Splunk Software Engineer to develop applications, APIs, scripts and services. The Splunk Software Engineer will architect, implement, and manage Splunk infrastructure and solutions. Administer Splunk Enterprise security. Develop and deploy complex Splunk searches. Administer search head clusters, indexer clusters, and Splunk forwarders. Work with users to troubleshoot, develop, and deploy Splunk solutions for them. Use GIT to manage and deploy custom apps and configurations. Use AWS to manage and deploy Splunk infrastructure. Use Jira and ServiceNow to track tickets. A current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.
 
Eight (8) years minimum experience and a High School Diploma/GED or Six (6) years minimum experience and an Associate's Degree or Four (4) years minimum experience and a Bachelor's Degree or Two (2) years minimum experience and a Master's Degree or a Doctorate's Degree. Splunk certification as a Splunk Accredited Consultant.

•  "Splunk Enterprise Certified Architect" OR "Splunk Enterprise Certified Admin" certification
• Splunk Architect certification OR Splunk admin certification with capabilities to architect Splunk solutions when needed
• Experience or knowledge on managing Splunk clusters and forwarders
• Experience or knowledge on developing complex Splunk searches
• Basic Linux knowledge or experience
