Description
The DevOps Engineer is responsible for system administration, maintenance, upgrades, installation, test, integration, and configuration of VLP/LF/MF/HF/VHF/UHF/Wireless SIGINT survey, collection and geo-location systems and software to include prototypes, development, operational testing, test, and labs systems and products.
Clearance
A current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.
Experience
Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Computer Science. May substitute four years' experience in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree. May substitute two years' experience with MS in Engineering or CS; Twelve (12) years' experience with software and system deployments, Linux system admin, containerization, cloud deployments, DevSecOps; May substitute two (2) years of experience with Masters of Science in Engineering or Computer Science; May substitute four (4) years of experience in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree

Required skills:
- Recent experience within the last three (3) years in Kubernetes.
- Recent experience within the last three (3) years in cluster orchestration.
- Recent experience within the last three (3) years containerization.
- Performing network services from network design through implementation, maintenance, and upgrading of existing networks
- LAN/CAN/WAN administration
- Experience with both Arista and Cisco network devices
- Configuring and optimizing the network to connect various front-end and back-end components
- Designing solutions, integrating, configuring, deploying, testing and providing ongoing maintenance for numerous types of network devices
- Strong Linux (RHEL/CentOS) administration and troubleshooting. Proficiency in scripting languages like Python and Bash.
- Experience building and maintaining pipelines with tools like Jenkins or GitLab. Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) using Ansible or Terraform.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for software deployment. Manage and configure Kubernetes clusters, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
- Experience with management and monitoring of hybrid cloud/virtualized environments.
- Willing to travel for information system installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
