Description

• Design, install, configure, and test operating systems, application software, and system management tools
• Proactively monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to ensure high availability
• Implement and maintain robust security measures, backup strategies, and disaster recovery plans
• Develop custom scripts to automate tasks and improve system efficiency
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues across hardware, software, and network components
• Work closely with developers, management, and other departments to understand requirements and deliver solutions
• Create and maintain detailed documentation for system architecture, procedures, and support
• Research and assess emerging technologies for potential upgrades or new implementations

Required skills:

• Two plus (2+) years of experience in system engineering, testing, or DevOps roles
• Proven experience configuring CI/CD pipelines and automated testing tools
• Strong working knowledge of Linux/Unix, version control (Git), and scripting languages (Python, Bash, or similar)
• Familiarity with Agile development practices

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with test frameworks  
• Strategic thinking and big-picture perspective
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• A passion for IT and continuous learning. 

Benefits
Erias Ventures provides a complete package of wealth, health, and happiness benefits. The expected salary range for this position, depending on education and years of experience is $150,000 - $265,000.
