Description
We are seeking a Cyber Analyst to provide source monitoring activities, cyber threat analysis and mitigation courses of action, provide the actionable intelligence used in organizational IT Asset protection, strategic cyber threat trending and situational awareness of customer leadership. 

Requirements
A current Public Trust security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position. Four (4) years of experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.

Required Skills:

• Deep understanding of cyber threats, vulnerabilities, attacker tactics (TTPs), and indicators of compromise (IOCs). This knowledge allows you to effectively analyze security data and identify potential threats.
• Familiarity with security frameworks and best practices such as MITRE ATT&CK or NIST Cybersecurity Framework helps develop a comprehensive threat detection strategy.
• Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) systems and endpoint detection and response (EDR) tools. 
• Strong analytical skills to identify patterns, anomalies, and trends in security data that might indicate potential threats.
• Ability to conduct threat hunting: Proactively searching for threats within the network even before they trigger alerts.
• Understanding of threat modeling to simulate attacker behavior and predict future attacks.
• Knowledge of threat intelligence frameworks (e.g., Diamond Model, Kill Chain) to structure and categorize threat data.
• Ability to collect and analyze threat intelligence from various sources, including internal security data, external threat feeds, and open-source intelligence (OSINT).
• Effective threat intelligence reporting: Communicating complex threat findings in a clear, concise, and actionable manner to security teams and stakeholders.
